Wholesale Distributors and Affiliate Marketing vs. Drop Shipping

This week in my Web Business Creation college class, I have been learning about how to find a wholesale distributor.  There are international and national distributors to choose from. To help with making a good decision about which route to go, we made an Excel spread sheet to quantify and compare. This is a very helpful tool and easily shows the best or most useful distributor.  After studying this, I determined that Global Services, an international broker located in China, would be the best choice.  Also we have studied affiliate marketing and drop shipping, how to use them, and the pros and cons of each.  Affiliate marketing appeared to be the best choice to help generate income on my website, email, etc.  Some advantages are as follows:

·         Setting up the business requires a low ongoing cost, but the return is worth it. 

·         The owners would not own any products, order products, keep an inventory, or need a warehouse to store products in.

·         They do not have to deal with customers. 

·         It offers flexibility so that the owners work when they want to and can expand or decrease the business as they choose.

·         Passive income is another feature because the owners may earn money 24/7.

·         It uses a low risk strategy and costs less to advertize products than using traditional ways. 

·         The owners may choose from thousands of products of their liking to promote.
