My background is that I came from pioneers who settled in Idaho.  I grew up in Sugar City, Idaho, with my dad as a farmer, and my mom was a stay at home mother.  She instilled in me a love of genealogy and a desire to find my ancestors.  We went to the Salt Lake Family History Library and spent hours searching books and microfilms.  Now she is gone and I want to continue that legacy of finding my ancestors and cousins.  Recently my daughter and husband took a DNA test to discover where our ancestors came from and what traits we inherited.  That was so interesting. Mostly my DNA test showed that I have European ancestors.  As a mother of eleven children, forty-two grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, my family chain continues to expand.
